Nice dynamics.

I wanna hear your non-sonny stuff. Not saying this is bad, it's really brilliant and it all keeps within the same style that works. You'll be part of why Sonny 2 (and Sonny) will be and and was a success. Killer English there.

DavidOrr responds:

Which non-sonny stuff would you be interested in? Some more cerebral works (such as a fugue, sonata, etc.), other orchestral music, electronic music? I'm always curious to hear what people want more/less of, so I'd appreciate any insight!

Moody.

I can't wait to see it in a flash. It starts like Pachelbel's Canon then there's two chords at 0:47 that make I think is in a part of some LOTR score, and then it gets some beef in the end and yay, can't wait to hear some more stuff from you too.
My 101st review, I think I'm on NG too much.

Zero123Music responds:

Lol thanks :)

I'm on my 148th audio review and 17 flash reviews, so no your not on NG too much - I am!

Thanks a bunch again for the review.

I might PM you about this evil tune I got going on - I recently sent it to Intero to see what he can do :D

Hmm

Even I didn't love the piano in this. It was kinda Jazzy and seemed a little out of place, if the cello melody backed over it at the same time after it the piano had a go on it's own it might have sounded cool. Anyway I know it's a new toy you're playing with.

Zero123Music responds:

well, it's confirmed then.. Just I can't rely on 1 review, and I can't rely on myself because I always have a completely different way of interpreting my own music compared to others.

Hmm, the cello melody over it? And then I will cut the xylophone playing with the piano so it has a less, vibrating-in-your-ear feel and maybe change the last bit - thanks! I will try when I get round to it.

But - thanks for the.. 10? your scores confuse me, lol I'm not complaining!
:D thanks again!

I really like this.

This is a really successful little mood, the drums are not what I'd expect but that may be a good thing in the end. I only played FF6 (which btw I can't find FF7 anywhere and anyway another story) point being, this is as fitting as what Uematsu wrote for his those villages. I hope your stuff is used in a brilliant movie or game or anything, and let it shine for what it's worth. And the drums are starting to become better the more I hear it, lol. A big 10.

Zero123Music responds:

Wow, BIG 10! thanks - the drums were only there to keep it interesting - in my opinion they don't go, but when I get EWQLSO Gold full I will add a big orchestra sound to it.

I use the same drums in my Conspiracy Menu Loop they sound much better. :D

thanks alot again assassin lol i'm still experimenting with this program!

Huzzah!

I've been aching to hear more from you. This has a lot of potential. The cello is faint but I don't think you even need it, I think you could make something really amazing with just some delicate piano. What you could try is get scenes from movies that really inspire you, cut the backing score out, and write your own piece tailored to the scene. Probably easier with scenes that have no dialogue but anyway, just an idea. Keep at it.

Zero123Music responds:

I have about 2 or 3 more ideas lined up. Just i'm waiting to get back into contact with Intero and in about a month or 2 I should have East West Quantum Leap Gold :D

I shall take into account the film thing. Just I don't normally watch films D: I will only watch one with my uncle like every 3 or 4, or 5 weeks. All I normally watch on telly is comedy :D

Though I seem to be one of those people who feels time is against them. Every minute I could be making something to contribute to the world, which means my mind interprets most things as being a waste of time, and not productive enough. It is not long until my time is over and I want to make the most of my life while I still can.

That is why I try my hardest to further my career while I am still young. It's just how I am.

(to the song lol) yes I had actually used a soundfont cello and not my VSTi's so I made it faint enough that it was recognisable but not so loud that the crapness of the instrument will be noticed :)

But lol, sorry about the essay - thanks alot for checking back on my songs ;D

Uh oh.

Look out, Zero's got some new sound! Btw how much did Sonar 7 and East West blah la Silver XP set you back if you don't mind me asking?
I look forward to some of your own piano playing used with this new gear, it's very exciting.

Zero123Music responds:

thankyou you very much assassin for the 10!

And I have a few piano ideas, and will put them in Sonar :D

thanks again,

You could always know where his chords would go, but in a good way, it was natural to receive his music, even though it always makes you feel different. Nicely arranged.

Cayler responds:

Yes, I've loved his sound for many a year. :) I grew up playing Uematsu's songs on piano all the time.

I love you.

Your love songs are pretty darn brilliant. They're raw and open, when I write I hide it all with an extended metaphor, which makes for shyte lyrics. I could wish for nothing more than for you to get your songs produced as best as they can.

Cayler responds:

Most of my lyrics are something I thought up and aren't really specifically something that happened to me, but these lyrics actually came right out of a page of a notebook that I vented in about a year before this song was put together. I too really hope that I can reproduce these songs much better someday. The main obstacle right now is jsut the time to do it, I'm sure I could get it all done well if I had the time.

I am feelin' it.

That was the funniest set of lyrics ever simply because you sang them in style so they don't even stand out as totally random.

Cayler responds:

Yes, I was in the mood when I made this. XD

I love piano, I love this.

This is truly beautiful, I never played FF7, and people always say I need to, this is the final straw, I have to play it.

Cayler responds:

I'm one of those people who will tell you that you have to play it. lol It's my fav game of all time, and I made that decision before I even knew how the rest of the world had received it, so completely uninfluenced by what other people said about it. They way the graphics are iffy and music is midi and the story is so deep, you come away from it sorta feeling like it wasn't a game at all, but a very unique and powerful dream. None of the subsequent FF7 spin offs haven't done the original justice at all, so you have to play it to fully understand why everyone loves it so much.

Never be afraid to open your minds. Create something, anything. You'll love doing it, I promise.
