Cool

Sounds like music in an Afghan strip club. Very nice job though, I like it.

RenoakRhythm responds:

lol.... afghan strip club? LOL.... thats the funniest thing i've heard all day....

Thanks for the review.

Yum.

I never heard the original, but this one is really cool. I like how your songs flow and grow. To me it kinda lost momentum at 2.00 and a little after, and I love the keys so why I say that shocks even me. Overall it's awesome (but not my fav of yours).

SinJim responds:

Thanks, I have plans to remake this one and release it on an album I'm doing with another guy. I'll let you know if I get the chance to make it better!

Very cool.

This is ballsy. I'm glad your work is sought after. The one thing about area-specific songs for games I find a shame is that it means they play so much and the responder is desensitized to it and it loses value, OR it gets stuck in their brain for all eternity. Don't know how yours will go. But I love it.

SinJim responds:

Thanks for the review! Hopefully it will be the latter. I'd rather have it not forgotten, but who knows.

Very cool.

You're like a more modern sounding MaestroRage. I love it. It's kinda minimal and nicely mastered.

SinJim responds:

Thanks for the comments! Glad you liked this.

Speechless (sorta)

I have never heard anything from you. And I am seriously upset that I haven't till now. This is all kinda of brilliant. You are an instant favorite, it was a good story and it was beautifully made, the dynamics and flow of it and the cohesive theme make it just total kick ass. I have to hear everything else of yours. The moment you did when he waits for her response and the reaction was just oh my god, I love you.

SinJim responds:

Haha, thanks so much for the review and kind comments. I must stress that my earlier stuff is VERY basic. So if you're looking for quality be sure to start relatively recent as I've gotten that opportunity to really improve over the last couple of months.

I hope you enjoy my other stuff. Let me know if I can direct you to anything you'd like. Thanks again for the review!

Awwww sheet! music.

Somebody's gonna get some! This is really genuinely 100% proves how awesome you're getting. I'm seriously shocked nobody at school knows you compose. One thing that could maybe change is the sound of the strings, or even go with a subtle choir as well. You always have this melodic phrase in most of your pieces, it's like your signature phrase now lol.

Here's what you do, you get a grand piano on wheels, and ride it into your school.. wait that's a little tricky. Just show her the song at least. And if she doesn't appreciate it, she needs to be taught.

Zero123Music responds:

:) thankyou assassin!!

I kinda have a checklist - and a melodic phrase is ticked off xD but I'll try not to have one next time - cause I like being different.

thanks again- and no! i'm not gonna show her it^^

>>Zero xD

I don't like it.

It's beautifully made, but for some reason I don't like it, sorry.
If somebody played this to me I'd guess straight away you made it, with or without LadyArsenic's vocal input. I think it might be the blend of sound, it seems thick but not strong. I don't know much to anything though. I really wish I could put my finger on it. Either way, it's certainly a well considered, arranged and executed piece.

MaestroRage responds:

That's fair. I appreciate your honesty, I don't expect you to love everything I make, and as I said, I truly appreciate the honesty.

The mixing on the piece is debatable, I did my best yet I know i'm far from perfect. I'll hopefully get a stronger, fuller sound on the revision.

Thanks for the review!

Not my cup of tea.

Being no fan of hip-hop to date, I actually listened to this whole thing. My only critique is the quality of the vocal work and your ending. Your voice wasn't in the foreground so much (maybe it isn't supposed to be in hip-hop, I wouldn't know) but I think it would have sounded better being more in your face and direct. And as for your ending, it kinda ended abruptly, I would have loved to hear your music ease out and finish more slowly.
Keep at it Mr Stingray.

Blasphem-E responds:

It is supposed to be in the foreground, but I'm still working on my mastering lol. And yes it was an abrupt ending, I just chopped the last minute and a half of the beat off

Beautiful piece.

Nice choice and use of instruments is really nice. Everyone loves magical Trevor, and Tama. My only critique is the ending for me wasn't as great as the rest of the song, I think it's the last chord, it doesn't seem quite fit. Other than that, well hell, despite that, it's really something special. I love the sexy time sax.

BlazingDragon responds:

ROFL! I adore magical Trevor. :) I was pretty satisfied with the ending. I don't really know what else I could have done. Thanks for the critique though. And I like the sax too lol

Nice nice nice.

It wasn't predictable to me. Which is good (right?). It sounds really brilliant, sweet, that climbing melody taking it's time and the echo on the chords is just brilliantly married together. I'm a fan.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks Assasin. :)

Never be afraid to open your minds. Create something, anything. You'll love doing it, I promise.
