Not what I expected.

I thought this would be much fuller, thick with strings and soaring melodies and climaxes, but you didn't, and I'm glad you didn't. Making it minimalist with just a flute to add to the latter half makes it really clear and puts focus on the music and emotion. And you could always use this as a theme and make arrangements based on it. You could make so many variations and moods just by changing what and how you use instruments. I'm glad you enjoy yourself making this. Now to download all of this.

Zero123Music responds:

i was about to brand it with '(Piano)' but there is a flute and '(Piano & Flute)' wouldn't fit.

Thankyou again!

edit: this was an awesome review, thanks so much :D

I loves the piano, I loves it loves it loves it!

This is the best kind of stuff you do, it's so beautiful, but that also means you're more free than ever to try other stuff. But, ya'know, don't ever stop doing this either or I'll get fat.

Zero123Music responds:

now we don't want that do we!
Thank you once more :-)
I have this passion for music that I cannot stop (I am just attracted to that piano like a magnet)

I warm up playing random impro, varying from different emotions and getting the feel,
Then I start writing (in my mind)
THEN (grr) I have to put in annoying FL from scratch.

Thankyou Again!

This is so cool.

It's a side of Zero I've never really seen. Progressive kinda stuff, I'm thoroughly intrigued, can't stop listening.

Zero123Music responds:

don't stop! 4 more songs to come - including a battle!

I know you enjoy piano so stay till tuesday (In britain) for the 'Idol I Never Had'
I think you might enjoy.

I felt evil at the time of making this,
Thankyou! >Zero

Yay for making your own village.

I'll regret saying this, but I almost thing that you would have been better off... without the piano. (gasp!!!). Maybe if it was taken up an octave, it sounds less village-y to me because of it, still totally brilliant though.

Zero123Music responds:

Thankyou for being honest - I should have either made the piano quieter, took it up the octave - or just deleted it.

Or maybe this shouldn't be called a village theme.
I just wanted a main melody that was all.
Thankyou again!

You had me at doo-di-doo.

After the second chord, I was sold. Oh man, damn right I'm thankful. You need to get all of this stuff onto an album.

Zero123Music responds:

Thanks- I'm glad you enjoyed it

Lol an album would lose more money it would make - just look at the ratings for my songs :-). I prefer things to be free and I want people to seek out music that they enjoy - then averyones happy!

I know I normally have 8/9/10 review ratings but that is only because down-raters believe that I will down-rate them for giving their opinion;
All I want is the truth from people otherwise I will never improve.

That's why I love Assassin2 and BlazingDragon :D

Very cool.

It's, different. It comes off an awkward to me with the way the glockenspiel comes through, it's less ethereal and more, I dunno, I honestly picture in the parts where it runs up and down some time laps of something in a laboratory, mysterious and evil-ish.... dunno why lol.. It definately is interesting.

Zero123Music responds:

:-) You may have noticed all my new pieces play around with different instruments - just practice for me.

At about 1:18 it got a bit evil and I can sense the laboratory lol

Thanks for taking your time to reveiw!

Niiiiice.

I really love the work put into it, but one of those synth sounds I hear everywhere, so I blame them for taking away from how good yours is, because you are good my boy. I love you for putting piano in it, like everybody should.

I'm jealous.

That's a really good sound, well refined and produced.

Grassy hills and big-f%$#off swords.

If you haven't made an early final fantasy themed piece either as a cover or your own interpretation, please do. Those were immortal, timeless, and utterly bad-ass.

Another slice of sexy pie from Selcuk's windowsill

You love your ethnic sounds I can tell. I like your delicate pieces perhaps more than your epics, I guess it depends on my mood. Make an album so I can buy it ;)

Never be afraid to open your minds. Create something, anything. You'll love doing it, I promise.
