Good stuff.

This song has been remade to every style known to man, acapella, jazz, techno, dance, heck everything!
But I have to say you're interpretation sounds great. My one suggestion to this is having another guitar doing the rhythmic violin part that's in the original. I can't describe it technically, you'll know once you hear it. It's a strum played twice in intervals then 5 in a row.

Sonofkirk responds:

Thanks for all your review Assassin. I will check the original song and if I make another version I will take account of your piece of advice.

Thanks for the review bro \m/

OMG AWESOME.

Dude I loved this song in the movie it was just the greatest montage in any movie ever. Great work too, not the most professional sound mastering, and again, no vocals like I've said in other reviews, but it kind of made it sound a little old school just like the movie so it works. And great stuff on the guitar dude. You've made me a fan.

Sonofkirk responds:

haha, this is my first song ... an oldie now lol. But I appreciate your review ! My friend Gorekiller made all the Synth Work and he made it very Oldschool like you said ^^. If you want a song with Vocals, give a listen to my sing called Between Fear And Death ...you will like it !

Proimising Stuff.

It has it's moments where I can close my eyes and I can convince myself I'm listening to an album of mine.
All I can think of is adding vocals and to a lesser extent read up on the tricks to EQs and effects and all that.

Sonofkirk responds:

Nice ! I will re-record the guitars with my new equipement and it will sound better.

Thanks for the review dude !

Not bad at all.

I'm impressed. I can feel the influences of SymphX, I love how you went all slow jazz all of a sudden. From 3:36 onwards was the part I felt sounded best. All I'd want on top is some vocals.
In the end the best metal on NG I've come across. Certainly need to see your other stuff.

Sonofkirk responds:

Thanks for the awesome review dude. I'm a big fan of SX, and it shows in my songs : ). You can check out The Sleep Part I, if you want to hear more from me. Here is a link : http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/136862 (minus space).

Thanks again for the review ! \m/

Very sad and awesome.

It has strong points but about halfway when it slowed down I felt it lost some feeling but at the same time that made the end half much more climactic and then, anticlimactic if that makes sense (when it dies out).
You're talented that's certain, you are very good at creating sad moods. And I don't know if it's if you struggle in the more demanding parts, I prefer to say you intend it when the tempo seesaws dramatically.
If I was you I'd be in every comp I could, it can only do you good. Best of luck.

Zero123Music responds:

Thanks alot, and I don't mean just 'alot' i mean 'ALOT' 'alot' if you get me lol.

Rocked my socks.

I can't see how this is emo at all like chaos believes some people would think. It's a great exploration of chord progression and in my opinion BEGGING for lyrics.
Great subtle use of strings it really helped make it surreal.
I'll have to see your other work.

Zero123Music responds:

Thank you so much for taking your time to review :-). And thanks for seeing my point on all this emo business.I would not put lyrics to a song for the sole fact if I ruined no one would listen to it again without the bad vocals rumbling in their head. Thank you very much for the nice comments.

Sounds like some hardcore Sega game.

I strongly recommend you come back to this and make it more.

That's a great hook, that melody, hell I had it in my head after hearing half the song and walking away. Like your 'Cavemen' it didn't go anywhere, but is did something perhaps better, it made me want it to go somewhere.
Please revise this if ever you can.

It was good.

I can see the neon lights flashing inside the caves now, dinosaurs tripping out on the meat of an ecstasy-bloated cave-corpse. Would make for a good short cartoon.

I have to admit though, that like when I compose music, it achieves a sound, feeling or mood, but doesn't go anywhere.
Heck if you enjoy making it you should never stop.

I wish it continued.

I personally didn't like how the guitars melded into the song at the start, but other than that, it was certainly some epic ass kicking music. Very dramatic, i dunno which instrument it was, might have been the electric guitar but it sounded kinda ethnic.. the vibrato one anyway around 1.50 made me think of some sad guy who'd be rocked. Love it.

MaestroRage responds:

The beginning had some guitar string noises which was an area of large debate. On the one hand it held a somewhat unpleasant quality to the song, but on the other I absolutely loved the tense energy it provided. With the gambit that it would not be well appreciated I kept it there.

I appreciate the honesty though, thank you for that, and again for the review!

That vibrato instrument at around 1:40 is the duduk flute, it IS an ethnic instrument, good catch ;D!

Good work.

Personally I wouldn't have seen this as a remix, but you pulled it off.
It's good to see you're not limited to classical, though, not to tell you what to do or anything but... my god keep doing classical. Catchy and made well.

Never be afraid to open your minds. Create something, anything. You'll love doing it, I promise.
